Usability Studies
Once the process of search engine optimisation has been carried out on your site, your site may now be well optimised, with an improvement in traffic flow, but may still suffer from unsatisfactory conversion rates. If this is the case, the Just Search Ireland team can carry out a number of usability studies on your site. They will be able to highlight any problems that might be preventing your site users from carrying out the sale.
- An increase in revenue
- Improved return on investment
- Bounce rates are reduced
The usability studies are carried out through website analysis of the common factors which can cause problems with conversion rates, in addition to people actually using and testing out the site. Any problems which are highlighted by the study will be sent across to you directly, allowing you to see footage captured of people using the site.
The usability study options available from Just Search Ireland:
Basic Usability Study
A member of the research and development team will be given the task of carrying out usability analysis on your site. Solutions will be provided for any problems which may be found. For a study of this nature you will receive around 15 pages, along with a number of images highlighting how the site could be modified to make it more usable. The only downside to selecting this type of study is that something more subtle may be missed.
Advanced Usability Study
This usability analysis method is undertaken by recording footage of your site’s users, discovering how they see your site and the point at which they encounter problems. The users are appointed specific tasks to do on the site and do not just click around randomly. A range of solutions are offered, while the footage recorded is also submitted on CD. This extensive study, where very little is missed, comprises of up to 40 pages.
Bespoke Usability Study
This usability study would be appropriate for those who would require something more, or even just different. The study can be built according to your needs, starting with the basic product. Additional features, which can be anything from a few pointers to tweak usability, can be added as required. You may even wish to incorporate analytics analysis in order to find out where users are failing.
