Google AdWords: Sitelinks
Google AdWords have launched lots of new features this year. One of these is Ad Sitelinks. We’ve been testing these features and have found the results to be very impressive:
Sitelinks Extensions
The Sitelinks Extensions feature helps in extending the value of the existing advert by providing additional links to target more areas of your website. Sitelinks Extensions will display up to four additional destination URLs on your search based text adverts.
With Sitelinks Extensions, you can point to specific information on your site such as special deals, new product ranges, sales, clearances or other event-related promotions. As on Google’s official blog, campaigns that have used one-line sitelinks have seen have seen an increase of more than 10 percent and those with two-line sitelinks have seen an increase of more than 30 percent.
Phone Extensions
Phone Sitelinks make it easier for potential customers to reach you by adding a phone number to your ad campaigns.
Phone Extensions can display your national phone number to all mobile device users with full browser capabilities.
Product Extensions
Product extensions make AdWords ads more relevant and enrich them with specific information related to your merchandise. With product extensions, you can link your existing Google Merchant Center account to highlight products in your adverts. It uses a Plusbox concept and shows the images, titles and prices of relevant products.
Product Extensions increases the CTR and profitability of AdWords ads by improving the conversion rates. You won’t be charged if a user simply expands the Plusbox, however you’re charged the same CPC whether the user clicks any of your product extensions or on the main advertisement.
Location Extensions
Location Extensions helps in extending AdWords campaigns by the attaching business address to your adverts. This includes the business name, address and phone number.
Location Extensions helps in promoting business brand, products and services which can attract a user’s attention who may already be close enough to physically visit your business, or who is already searching or browsing for information related to business in their area.
